Balls Deep On The Bitcoin Boat

If Bitcoin is a better gold or seen as a type of gold-like asset, then it could be in the trillions on a market cap' - Tyler Winklevoss
In one of my previous articles, ‘
Money For Millennials’, I wrote about financial growth challenges which the younger generations undoubtedly face.
Since writing the article, I’ve heard a familiar question repeat itself - “Can I really make a million from investing in Bitcoin or other crypto currencies?”
So far, this year we have seen a rapid increase in price of digital coins, along with numerous price predictions for these assets – Bitcoin’s financial value has been pegged by ‘experts’ at anywhere between
$10,000 - $100,000 in the next 1-5 years.
These types of predictions are coming from respected sources from all over the world, causing crypto virgins to consider their options.
John McAfee even taking to Twitter and wagering he’ll
'Eat His Own Dick On Live TV' if bitcoin doesn’t reach $500,000 in the next 3 years.
The New Breed
You only have to attach yourself to the crypto community on Twitter for 5 minutes to realise the huge impact cryptocurrency is having on people’s lives. The belief that a new financial era is just around the corner is looking like a dead cert.
But, for every crypto-believer who are balls deep in bitcoin, there are the non-believers, the ones who have never bothered to
read Satoshi’s masterpiece, the ones who didn’t 'buy the dip' and could never be bothered to accumulate a healthy
blockfolio of crypto currency over the past few years.
Ship A-hoy
The fact is, whether you love or hate blockchain technologies, this crypto-storm seems to be blowing heavily in the sails of crypto – creating new wealth, job opportunity, and a fresh excitement along the way.
Having spoken to numerous sceptics about investing into bitcoin, the general theme seems to follow the same pattern - “Have I missed the boat?”
On the flip side of the coin, if you speak with ‘coiners’ or early adopters, the answer is usually very clear “Buy more. Hodl. Get on the rocket(ship), we’re going to the moon!”.
